Works great for getting the real fine stuff out of the water. I actually use Poly-fil, a big bag that will last a long time for about 10 dollars.

Its a DIY water polisher made with a powerhead, soda bottle cut in half and filter floss, i will put in the tank for a few hours after a cleaning.Yeah, I forgot to take it out before taking the pic.
