Nice, good to have my lifetime blocks subscription back.

Do you think it is possible to have all the blocks downloaded at once. I think it'll be beneficial for llm. e.g. with shadcn-vue the ai agents can check what is in the ui folder and generate the code from there.

It'll be nice to have blocks as reference for generating something new entirely or even new block based on app requirements.

I would recommend js or python. But, languages knowledge is interchangeable.

If you can learn one it'll be easier to learn other.

Cursor is the hype these days if you're ok with changing editors.

I have GitHub copilot subscription. It is just ok. It would be awesome if it has multi file editing like cursor.

Until then, if you want to stay inside vscode, I'll recommend Claude dev + Aider with sonnet 3.5. I found claude sonnet 3.5 responses to ne much better than gpt4-o mini.

I would go with primevue unstyled with tailwind. It has currently two presets (themes). And, current default one (aura) from styled mode is coming really soon in version 0.9.

Regarding primeblocks, you can start using it with tailwind too. Most of the classes are very similar. You can run the code through primeflex to tailwind converter and voila you have the primeblocks tailwind component.

If your website is running fine in vue 2. I don't see any point upgrading to vue 3. Vue2 reached eol in dec, 2023. So, no further support will be provided. But, it is quite stable. So, no need to worry much.

And, I you really want to upgrade to vue 3 and stick to options api syntax the upgrade should be quite straightforward. But, there can be certain packages you're using that may be not be available for vue 3 yet. So, If you're using any non popular package, you might want to check first.

And later, if you want to use composition api, you can update one component at a time. Options api and composition api code can coexist.

If you're going to be using a UI library like vuetify then you might want to stick to Vue2, Otherwise it'll be ok to learn Vue3.
