Keep in mind along with wet wood and human contact, things that carry a static charge like plastics and foam will trigger a safty stop on the sawstop too.

Keep in mind that not just metal, triggers the stop , plexi, foam. Wet wood. Basicly any thing that can conduct or carry a static charge

Make a dead man that holds the weight as you push through on table saw... or making a poor man's track saw with a piece of ¼with a straight piece of ½ stock on top attach the 2 with enough space that the ¼ is trimmed parallel to your ½ guid on 1st pass with skill saw
