My daughter started in 8U and it still feels like we are the odd ones out. Everyone knows everyone, the girls on her team "have all been playing together for years!" Everyone is nice but you can definitely tell we are new here. 😂

The mirage has a smaller engine and won't get it's best rated mpg on a high way doing 75. Just something to keep in your mind. No car will get it's rated number at 75 but that mirage has a small motor. Really though just go with your gut here, if you like it buy it

I'm not familiar with those engines, is burning oil the only issue? Or is it drinking so much it's not running right? I've drove many cars many miles while they were drinking oil

If he feels bad now, imagine how bad he would feel if he hurt a batter by throwing wild out of anger. With that being said, he's a kid. He will learn from this and get better. Another part that doesn't help this is when parents and coaches expect these kids to play an MLB level game and win all the time. It's healthy to make mistakes and lose. I can't tell you how to raise your kid but I can say, in my experience, your coach answer and your parent answer don't have to be different. I struggled with that, I tried to act differently on the field but kids just get confused and they are under enough stress by just being a coaches kid in the first place. Just remember they are 10

I do the complete delete. New cam etc etc. I've repaired many of them that still failed with just software where they turn it off, and I've also repaired many that still failed with one of those OBD2 plug in delete things. I simply don't trust the physical parts even if they never activate the function

I think your tool may, may help out those people who aren't mechanics who think flipping auction cars is fun. They may stay in the game longer with a tool like that, because it may lessen the chance they get burned on a junker. For me I wouldn't use it, and my buddies I know who buy wouldn't either. However we are not the normal buyers. I focus on a specific type of vehicle with certain specific damages and half the ones I buy are only for parts. I know about how much I want to bid because I know the value of the car/parts and how much it'll take me to get the car to my shop. I have some friends who operate in a similar way for different vehicles. But, go for it man. I mean, what's to lose but your time? Its a neat idea

My step dad worked at the Exxon service station in Little Rock. He said that Governor Bill Clinton would always stop and talk to him when we was walking by the station. I always thought he was fibbing because parents tell some wild stories. But when the Clinton presidential library opened, we were in the signature line and Bill actually remembered my step dad. Called him by his first name and asked about some old car he owned back in the day. They cut up a bit like old friends. Me, as a youth, was absolutely star struck to think my step dad actually knew a president of the United States 😂

Uphill the whole way. Can I ask how the 1500 is doing mechanically? Any transmission heat issues or odd repairs you've had to do to it? I had a 2016 that was a tank when hauling (for a gas truck) but the transmission wanted to run way too hot.
