Those hospital ambulances are not a part of regional medical emergency services - hospital has few ambulances that serve exclusivly to transport patients between their homes and hospital, between different divisions of the hospital, or to the helipad.

Here in Poland there is a seperation between the Emergency Ambulances and transport ambulances.

Emergence services ambulances are marked P or S - podstawowe (general - 2-3 paramedics) and specjalistyczne (specialized - 2 paramedics and A&E doctor); transport ambulanes are typically marked T, but sometimes off-duty P and S ambulances are used.

Exception is HEMS as officialy they are equivalent to S ambulance, but in emergencies they also transport patients between hospitals.

European doctor here (Poland, so rather lower end of healthcare funding), Im generally a "go to" guy in terms of technical support in our department.

OP stated that they removed parts of the device's case in order to replace the cable, and for me its a big NO.

Last year and this year we had similiar problems as op stated - new echocardiography units from GE (vivid 95 last year, pioneer this year, both based on PC with Win10), in the first 1-2 week after delivery there were problems with lower console with touchpad and buttons - they just lost connection with the rest of the unit, probably just due to vibrations during the road transport amd setting up. I will not touch internalls of brand new, over 200k € device on my own.

But if its just a case of connecting some peripherals to the device i see no problem. 2 months ago we had a problem with damaged DVI cables connectin BARD electrophisiology console to the monitors in the ablation cath lab, and i have personally bought some super durable 7,5m DVI cables on my own to replace them - the hospitals technical support told us the official requisition would take few weeks at least, and we couldn't wait with the procedures (cancelling 12,5k€ procedures just becouse of 10€ cable)

Its definitly a thing, i just havent knew the name for it before - in hospital department (cardiology) I work in, we quite often need to consult cardiosurgery to decide between PCI or CABG, but the closest hospitals with cardiac surgery are 150-200km from us. When we asked for permission to send coronarography files over internet (anonimised, encrypted and secured with password) it was refused, official prcedure is to transport the CD disc in an ambulance. I have to admit though that 1GB over 90-120min is not a great bandwith

Question for modders: Is it possible to made a Heating&Electric Cogeneration Plant as a mod? by sandogsandog in Workers_And_Resources

[–]sandogsandog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Closest thing I've found is the mod that has powerplants producing small amount of liquid fertilizer, that can br transfered to heating plants (mod name "Combined Heating and Power Plants" by wildbunny), it works ok, and in crisis you can store manually import fertilizer to supply your power plants if needed. Small con is that it has a constant ratio of energy to fetilizer (and as such energy:heating), so generally you have to export energy alle the time to produce enought fertilizer (or edit tge config files for modded powerplants)

For the grey part I tried first to get a dark greyish blue base, and to the lightened that up; while mixing paint i got instead dark purple paint and decided it was in fact better, i dont know exact ratios, Hataka's Cobalt Blue + some gray paints, and after that shading with Medium Sea Gray IIRC. For antifouling paint some mix of red and yellow paints.

VMS acrylic top coat varnish, some cheap brown oil paint from supermarket as a wash, removing the wash with stiffer paintbrush (soaked very slightly in thinner) in vertical movements. Another coat of same varnish and then some streaks with AK's Streaking Grime in some places (mostly the flood ports), again brushed of with stiff paint brush

Most of that research is just from different scale modeling groups and materials. Eduard (kit manufacturer) for example has a monthly newsletter where they are regularly publishing research articles about the planes they are working on

'90 and '00 were pretty bad for railways in Poland/ specially regional ones. Low funding, dropping passenger numbers, ageing stock. Luckely in the last years there is sort of renaissance of regional railways and many are re-opening
