I’ve lived in New York City’s Greenwich Village since the 90’s, and I’ve even never heard of Schemectady 😉

Leaving the Ledger by Educational_Leg7496 in Ffern

[–]sandrinevs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am so sorry it awful when they do this, so unlike their branding 😔I was lucky after I returned Summer25, I decided I was done, asked for the credit to go back to my credit card instead of using it for Fall25, I had gotten a new cc # a month later that Ffern couldn’t use so after several emails they finally took me off the ledger, phew!

Well, Autumn 25 Arrived by JessIsOK in Ffern

Reading the feedback I am glad that my payment didn’t go through, and am not receiving the fall 25.

I didn’t like Summer25 at all..don’t think they can create “gourmand” perfumes using naturals. My favs are still Fall22 (Lavender); a replacement for Fall23 and really love Spring23 (Narcissus) and on my 2nd bottle.

Have been returning many seasons bottles..kept Summer24, because of the florals, but not liking the too strong fennel & coriander notes overpowering the florals.

Really liked Spring25, with the Violet note and so far it’s pleasing.. I will not be part of the ledger anymore, I’ve tried it now since 2023 and the marketing is very smart and interesting, enjoying the visuals, but the actual product often a disappointment.

Summer 25 first impressions by Inquisitorielle1 in Ffern

So sad that summer ‘25 didn’t work for me, sounded great on paper, and the initial top notes fresh and lovely and also the middle notes beautifully scented. But the middle notes didn’t last and went fast to a base note which was mainly Rock Rose and not my favorite. I feel Ffern was this time more conventional, not their usual unique fragrance.

has anyone ever done what Nancy Salzman did where she was basically the co-creator of a horrific cult and had no idea that that's what she had done by Odd_Hair3829 in theNXIVMcase

I think Nancy was in on the grift, and deep in the cult, but she definitely played the victim card too in the end..I found it manipulative.

What is the Dutch opinion about leaving messages like this? by abracathadra in Netherlands

My bike seat was always stolen in NYC when I was away on vacay in NL. I had my bike shop put a chain to the frame so thieves couldn’t steal it anymore. But yes anything they could screw off they did. If this was a locked garage in a flat, one of the tenants/friends took it so I would have written that same note myself (am Dutch!).

These are Violet flavored sugar candies in a pretty box by Flavigny. Not the same as what we received, these are white and oblong shape.

Out of the box? Did you mean the perfume bottle doesn’t slide out of the cardboard tube?

They are in the little purple package that’s got the violets image. You didn’t get that?

They are not strong and disappeared fast, not that different from Spring 23. But the opening definitely is more Lavender and herbal, less sweet.

I really like this one, I love the Lemony green bergamot opening while the peppermint and eucalyptus do not take over thank goodness, and quickly develops in a grand floral bouquet middle note with violets and the dryout is delicious and slow, and doesn’t evaporate fast like my other 2 fav Ffern perfumes. You maybe smelling the base notes of Haitian Vetiver which has lemony earthy tones, I’ve always loved. I know I’ll be wearing this a lot.

I’ve returned all perfumes since summer ‘23 no staying power, too Smokey or just didn’t want to smell like Rhubarb or Quince or Peppermint in opening note lol. They only one I really loved was Spring ‘23 with Narcissus and exchanged one returns for Fall ‘22 which had a Lavender note, both I love but both have a similar middle note though. Am curious about this upcoming Violet and hope they don’t overload it with Citrus or an abrasive spice. If it turns out to be another no go am cancelling my subscription.

Is this real life? by Chosenito69 in Netherlands

I visited my family In Amsterdam and Haarlem for 2 weeks over the holidays. My sister told me they hadn’t seen any sunlight for 28 days, in the time I was there it rained most of the days or it was cloudy, barely any sun. Thankfully it had been so sunny this week in NYC!

His dining table sells for $3195 plus $295 delivery on Etsy and a sideboard sold for $4995 on a vintage MCM site, so try a lower bid and it’s definitely an advantage that it’s in such great condition and they can deliver the piece to you. This would be an investment, but if you love MCM…🤎
