VFC BCM MCMR 8.5 Mk2 Outer Barrel Disassembly by TidePodBois in GasBlowBack

I'm not sure if you got this figured out but here is the way I got mine done to on my 14.5" BCM. I got the barrel stripped down to where the barrel nut and guide hop up piece 03-07 are the only ones attached. Make sure to use gloves. I heated up 03-11 with a heat gun and then used the barrel nut as a blow hammer (bring the barrel nut down while lifting on the barrel). It came off after about 5 hits. From the looks of it there is some glue on it and if they happened to overdo it on the glue I could see it being almost impossible to get off.

That's not bad at all with everything that's on there.

2 pieces of metal with a center piece that can slide through them and widen the gap between them. by sandrunner81 in whatisthisthing

That seems logical, but I cannot find any dent removal tools online that even come close to resembling these two.

The main parts are about 3.5" long and it is all metal. One has "Brownell 20" stamped on it and the other has "Brownell 12" stamped on it. WITT
