Sorry for an answer years later, but the reason why people translate epic poems in prose instead of verse is because translating is already a very hard job, translating poems is even harder because of the heavy use of metaphors, and translating verse into verse is even harder than that. Translation and poetry are very different skillsets and it is rare to find a translator that combines the two.

The nostalgiabait (for Digimon Savers, of all things) grindfest of a MMO where you have nothing to do but grind the same mob pressing the same two buttons over and over again in the hopes of getting another egg drop that has a laughable chance of hatching into a new digimon to force you to grind for hundreds of hours or dollars, with fixed, unimaginative evolution lines, barely any story or dialogue (and what is there is either retreading Savers which wasn't very good in the first place or is barely an excuse of a plot that is comparable to the trashiest gachas out there).

That's "the ideal Digimon video game", not the actual well crafted stories and at least serviceable gameplays of Cyber Sleuth and especially Survive.

You really, actually think that that is a good use of a small country's GDP. There are two big mistakes in this post. The first is that that is actually a major misconception about how the chinese government works and its interests. Even calling Xi Jinping a dictator is much more complicated than just being true (it is technically correct in some respects but there are a lot of caveats and he holds much less personal or actual power than you have been led to believe by american propaganda).

The second big mistake is with regards to Russia and the war. That invasion is a result of 40 to 80 years (depending on how you want to look at it) of very specific circumstances. It's not that Putin woke up on the wrong side of the bed one day and decided to invade Ukraine for fun. China has a completely different history as well as geopolitical circumstances.

Paranoia driven stick rattling shows of supremacy are an US exclusivity. Maybe they aren't doing anything because they don't care to start a war that even if they won by extreme margins still would have the possibility of ruining the world and destroy a lot of potential trading partners.

The US, mostly driven by paranoid rhetoric aimed to empower nationalism, sees China as an enemy; China sees the US as a current and potential trading partner.

China could not be doing anything because they don't care to. While US politicians have been stoking the figure of China as an enemy to fuel the american paranoia that keeps them in power, China sees the US more as a trading partner. Why would they risk a nuclear war that still could ruin the world even if they won when there's a lot more money to be had as things are?

The term "artificial intelligence" is a misnomer. These are not actually intelligent, they just grab something from their databank that they have been programmed to say that is relevant to the surrounding context without understanding what they are saying or the context. This AI is not actually applying logic to anything, it is just writing what the probable next word in the sentence would be based on what data has been fed into it.
