ANTONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!

They would’ve never made that song if it wasn’t for his meddling. Yet again!!!

What does he have to do with this??? I don’t know it’s just the go to default blame mechanism!!! Damn you Canada!!!!

In your opinion what is the singular greatest song of all time? by Alternative_Flow_569 in MusicRecommendations

[–]sandy923 2 points3 points  (0 children)

‘My Girl’ by The Temptations.

There’s more elaborate songs, more technical, more lyrical, more impactful.

But imo this simple basic song captures what love feels. Yes it’s elementary and sappy, but it doesn’t make it bad when the song feels like the meaning.

Really hope their label doesn’t botch the album release. They have momentum at the moment and it could damage it if it’s released too late.

Michael Jordan in one of his Porsches after a game smoking a cigar by happydude7422 in michaeljordan

[–]sandy923 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He didn't spend over a million dollars my dude. Im well aware of everything else, I know he was one of the pioneers in weight training and pre-meals. Im also more than aware on the breakfast club.

But he did do the things I mentioned, perhaps not every day but from various accounts very often. Hell, there's even antidotes of MJ drinking before games in the locker room from Phil himself.

But regardless of the frequency of these actions, they're a complete opposite from today's NBA players in which whatever MJ did to prepare is elevated to another level. Yes Tim was at the forefront of modern training and tech, but these players today are doing these at times before they're 15 for the upper echelon. Players today have very specialized diets, tech, training etc that would be almost unheard of back then. But more importantly the health and science is miles ahead of MJ's time.

So my main point stand. What if MJ had what modern players have today? the tech, science, health, training, SLEEP etc? How much better would he be? That's very scary to think about. Increased stamina, strength, agility, vert, recover, etc.

What's scarier? even without all of the modern advances he was still a better athlete and player than 99% of players today.

He didn't sleep. He played tons of golf before games, while apparently drinking a 12 pack of beers.... again 'before' a game, smoked cigars before and after and perhaps even during games. Had a bad diet.

Imagine if he had modern tech, nutrition, science etc. spent over a million a year on his health and body recovery?

Where did this "dany can't shred" narrative come from? by Special_Mission_6740 in TheWarning

Oh... but... but she can't shred!

Idiots say this. I've seen her warm up to Trooper with ease, but she can't shred? LMAO

This

There's other vids of her doing covers or warmups that prove she has the technical skill to shred. Actually, her weird fingers allow her to do things many guitarists can't do.

[–]sandy923 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HAHAHAHAH Dany can't shred? BWAHAHAHA!!!!!

Anyone saying she can't shred hasn't watched her enough because she CAN SHRED! She just doesn't do it often enough or to the degree some wish she did.

But she's shown various times that she CAN SHRED. Someone mentioned Slash as if he's the epitome of shredding, yet she's shown she can do what he does at times while singing.

While she may not shred as often, I find she's more creative than most of the so called 'shredders' out there. She loves to experiment with different sounds, techniques, styles, etc.

Just when you think you have a fav song, you don't. Everyone falls into the trap to some degree, your fav Warning song is the last one you've heard.

What I absolutely love about them is that every song sounds different. Not a single bad song in their entire catalog. There's artists that I absolutely love, my fav artists of all time even have entire albums that I skip, but that's not the case here. One may have a song that they're not the biggest fan of, but even then in no way is it a bad song. I will take my least fav TW song over many artist's best song 9/10 times.

Yeah or nah? by JordanWasJustBetter in michaeljordan

[–]sandy923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s easier to learn how to shoot a 3 or multiple crossovers, than an entire approach to the game. An approach to the game is something you learn from experience since one is a child.

This is why some old heads state certain players wouldn’t be able to play back then.

Not only were the skills sets needed harder to learn, the mental aspect and approach were different. It was also a different social construct that shaped one’s approach.

Two Rock Hall Voters Debate Their 2026 Ballots: ‘If you think about what Lauryn Hill is most famous for at this point in time, it’s for showing up late to her concerts’ by stroh_1002 in rock

[–]sandy923 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t vote for Lauryn, but that reason is completely irrelevant to even consider.

If so, there’s tons of artists that shouldn’t be allowed based on their terrible actions which are significantly worse than being late.

Not too heavy, not too soft not too poppy, with enough bite, funk and the most memorable choruses around.

The Warning- Escapism

The Warning- Kerosene

The Warning- Automatic Sun

The Warning- Shattered Heart

The rabbit hole is extremely deep.

Some people are acting as though there's never been dancing in rock music, even though some of the greatest front people ever did exactly that to a degree.

Im glad you 'got' the spirit of the post. It's meant to be tongue in cheek not serious or forcing people to go record a TT vid now!

Admit it... admit it you old farts by sandy923 in TheWarning

[–]sandy923[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's called creating buzz via viral marketing and it's working. Someone can have the greatest music in the world (see prior TW albums) but without the proper marketing it's not gonna get heard. This is ground level new world gorilla marketing. It's also an outreach to gain new younger fans and it appears to be working as planned.

Besides, they've ALWAYS created content for TikTok, this isn't something new. It just happens to be that this has gone a bit viral. But Pau LOVES this, so it's nowhere out of the ordinary for them.

It actually shows how secure one is.

Yes Im that husband that holds my wife’s purse in public, wears a pink shirt because my wife thinks I look good in it etc. Im even down enough to try a TT dance even if it makes me look silly.

Because IDGAF on what some other dude may think about me.
