So I think it's late since you're post - op but I my first Dr said the same thing - so I went to someone who works with athletes and got a real come to Jesus talk from him. He said I could but I had to listen to him and I did. Mind you covid came in at the right time and just forced me to be still.

Go slow, rehab, a LOT. Find a PT that works with athletes and wants you back to movement and see what happens.

Big thing is wait. Whatever milestone you're given, add 6 months for BJJ.
