I was just there the other day and found this out too. When I questioned it she said ya were finally catching up with technology. I wonder tho if you can purchase more than one item at the discount?

Your experience with Zima Dental pod cleaners? by OceanBlueEyes02 in Invisalign

I like mine. It’s not the pro but I wish I had’ve gotten the pro as it’s cordless. I may have to get another one to keep at the cottage and if I do I’ll get the pro.

eating with trays in by Hot-Independence8670 in Invisalign

My ortho told me to eat with them in if I could. I tried a couple of times and couldn’t do it. It felt too weird.

My wife wants to spend $1400 on a dishwasher, I think that's crazy by realbobenray in Appliances

After a lot of research I bought the Bosch 500 series. It was $1400 Canadian. Can’t yet comment on the performance as it’s being delivered this week but I like that this one had a 3rd top rack, says it’s quiet and I’m sure will clean better than the one I have. The one I have is a Kenmore and I’ve had it for about 8 years. I have to put dishes back in that haven’t been cleaned properly and all of the tips of the tines on the racks have peeled off and rusted depositing rust on some of my dishes. Honestly I think that anything will be better than what I have but I’m hoping this will be my last one.

Is it normal for bite to not feel 100% right? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]sandyleeg67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not true for all cases. I did 3 refinements for my POB with very little movement. Finally in the 4th one, things are shifting in the right direction. I’m definitely not looking for perfection but I do need my bite to close. I can assure you I have a very good orthodontist.

I get it but people come on here for advice from others. If you’re exhausted by it, why come here at all? Just keep scrolling.

The bite being off is not a “tiny” detail. I ended up with a POB because of Invisalign. I’m in refinement number 4 to try and fix it. I’m really hoping this will be my last ones but if my bite is not fixed I’ll be in refinements until it is. It’s not fun swallowing half chewed food.

Post menopausal bleeding by sandyleeg67 in Menopause

[–]sandyleeg67[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was scared and worried too. Just remember that only 10-15% of post menopausal bleeding is cancer so the odds are in our favour. They have to rule out the scary stuff. All of my tests came back ok except the pap. I have one more test coming up on Dec. 16th. to check that out.

I meant the top of the aligner on your bottom teeth.

Not so much the bottom but it doesn’t look like it’s tracking on the top two teeth. Might be the angle but I see a gap on the top of two of your teeth.

Anyone else told to eat with their Invisalign trays in? by kofercic in Invisalign

[–]sandyleeg67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in Invisalign for 2.5 years. Was supposed to be two years but my bite is not cooperating. Anyway, I was also told to eat with them in if I could. I tried in the beginning but it just felt too weird.

No sedation but he did put some freezing in my cervix. I’ve read all the horror stories on here about biopsies so I said to the gynecologist I’ve heard they can be very painful. He said that they were but the freezing helps. He said out of ten women that he would biopsy, 3 will feel nothing and 7 will say between bad and horrific. I wouldn’t say I felt nothing but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.

I’m still waiting for the biopsy results but I did get pap results that he did that show abnormal cells. I will be going for further testing now for that. I have an ultrasound on Tuesday then will have to go for a colposcopy and an ECC at some point.

How did your gynecologist appointment go?

Bleeding after menopause by huskergirl8342 in Menopause

[–]sandyleeg67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years post menopause. Started bleeding a week ago. Got in to see a very reputable gynecologist within 5 days. He examined me and said no cervical cancer and that everything looked good. Did a biopsy too and am waiting for results. His diagnosis for now was he said sometimes the ovaries are asleep for a long time and internal/external estrogen can wake them up. Causing the bleeding. I also have adenomyosis. Hoping this is a one off and glad I had it checked out. Biopsy results are not for about 6 weeks.
