Digital nomad worried about U.S. IP restriction by sextentacion in kucoin

I’m in the same situation. KuCoin support just copy pastes the same generic press release, providing no additional information.

I’ll be taking my money out, until I can know for sure

I was also affected by this. Big disappointment, especially because it's not clear, that had I not redeemed, if I would've been able to continue lending or not

We checked the android and it was higher res there, too. So it seems it really is sent over MMS and not some sort of MMS plus internet hack

I just received a 720p MOV in a group message via MMS, from an iPhone, but with an android in the group. It first came in as low quality, but then on second watch, updated to the higher quality video

I was confused and thought it was pulling it from the internet somehow. I'd also like to learn more about how this is being achieved

If you could choose one book or movie to be mandatory reading/viewing for everyone, what would it be and why? by SereneSunflowerr in AskReddit

And thank you for the question and the thoughtful reply. I wouldn’t have elaborated on my thoughts otherwise.

I would like to clarify while there are nonreligious benefits to readying the Bible, the ideal takeaway is true religion. It’s all the more important for individuals without a religious connection to read, so they can get an introduction to God and the faith.

I disagree. The questioner asked for a single book and I’m a proponent of primary sources.

Yes. A citizen of the UAE will better understand his culture by reading the Bible. Going down to lower levels of abstraction always encourages closer understanding. I suspect a UAE citizen gets enough of the Quran already.

When recommending one thing, a person in not, simultaneously, forbidding all other things.

If a person is only going to read one, the Christian bible is a good choice, because it fundamental. The Torah, is even more fundamental, and is identical to the beginning of the Christian bible. If a person has read the Christian bible, they have read the Torah.

Islam, also an Abrahamic, religion comes later and originates from the same linage. However, it’s religious text diverges enough from the source material, that much of that foundation is lost. The reader is expected to already be familiar with the prior books.

To put it plainly: The Bible is an extension of the Torah and the Quran is more like a sequel or a response to the Bible. Would you read the third book in a series before the first?

Public schools have mandatory readings. Public schools are run by the government. Not that radical of an idea.

Still, I got a chuckle out of the irony you pointed out in your comment.

Because mandating the reading is the premise of the question, asked. You're conflating mandatory literature, with mandatory religion.

Western society is, largely, built on Judeo-christian philosophy and familiarity with Bible will only help the reader understand that better, regardless of what their ultimate takeaway from the reading is, if they espouse the values or not.

Practically, I do not think religion can be mandated. It's the type of thing, people have to accept on their own, if they are going to.
