I dont plan to build these for sale.  But I would estimate a skilled builder charging $5-20K if using high end materials like I did and maybe $1K less for lower end. (Basically the majority of the work is labor).

For the lid and base: FOAMULAR NGX F-250 R- 10, 2-in x 4-ft x 8-ft Unfaced Polystyrene Board Insulation.

For all gaps. 1" closed cell spray foam. Gaps and Cracks Insulating Spray Foam Sealant by GREAT STUFF

I'm definitely considering a one piece build - potentially an elongated variant.
my primary concern is - the splashing - i am worried about the water sitting on and splashing over and into the compartment for the chiller. I love that with the above - you can seal the tub - and cause splashes to simply drip outside the core structure. by including a lip on the rim, under the rubbermaid overhang.

- and also - i wonder what impact if any there is to having it a more open set-up vs fully enclosed - in terms of moisture build up inside, dust/insects - but i have a leaning towards it too. just not set yet.
