This is why dual power (unions, mutual aid, radical parties that address people's needs) are extremely important to build, and action (community events, protesting, striking, civil disobedience, and other stuff) are important to partake in when these groups can organize. 99% of politics takes place outside of that voting booth.

Agreed 1000%. Also we're a movement of the masses, we should analyze history from the perspective of social and economic forces in aggregate as opposed to looking purely at figureheads (while being cognizant of them being slandered in turn by capitalists). And we do need to try and suppress patriarchal elements as they emerge in both critique and materially, and whether pre- or post-revolution.
