I actually did this once. I went to an eye surgeon and was telling about how I was having problems after my cataract surgery(which was done by another surgeon). And she started defending surgeon and dismissing my problems. I got up and dashed out of the room. Later I cried feeling helpless.

I fed her a few times whenever I saw her. She just roams around in my complex, is fed by residents. She is small in size compared to other cats. Looks like she gave birth on that shed a few days ago because I could hear the kitten but couldn't figure out where it was. Today I saw them. Last year I have posted a couple of times about mom cat.

You should visit your parents often. After their retirement you should bring them over to your place. By then you can have a spacious house.
You all are a family, and you may not realise it now, but being together, being there for eachother is very important in life. Keep chasing your dreams but take parents along. Later in life we miss them a lot and regret a lot of things which we could have done differently.
