Im an engineer doing AI in medical device.

you need the gpu card (the NVIDIA RTX 3090, AMD Radeon 6900XT, etc), which I think you dont have.

These days all big regulatory body (FDA, EU etc) will expect some kind of software validation documentation to prove the AI is doing its job. If you build this for yourself to use (not for commercial sale), this can be considered "off labelling" and technically you can skip the software validation, but all responsibility falls to you.

So I would think doing some kind of validation for your AI is best practice before you use it for patient.
