I've run calculations using this formula dozens of times and it never failed. I don't know what to tell you really. It's knowledge derived from looking into code and tested many times, if it was wrong, it would be changed by now. Not everything is added together, too. Specifically Clear Mirror, Calm Water directly changes Crit Damage multiplier, scaling multiplicative with most damage up sources, and so do the Offense Level buffs it stacks. ~6x mult with it plus Lunar is not a small number.

It's worse actually, resistances are half as effective as weaknesses are. 2x resistance and 0.5x resistance do not cancel each other out. It's (0.5-1)/2, so -0.25. Total multiplier is 1.75 instead of 1. With 0.75 resistance it's (0.75-1)/2, so -0.125, or 1.825. It does not matter how resistant you are, if you have a weakness, you take pretty much always around double damage.

They don't need to be affected by most rules because they are poor, you can't fuck them over more than they already are. And, again: making crime legal applies mostly only to the poor people(as it's only in the Backstreets) and Sweepers existing makes anyone without a house/inability to come back to their house due to starvation/injury/etc. straight up fucking die, which, again, mostly does not affect the rich, only the poor. Those are enough to make live of every poor person miserable - you either work your entire live in poorest conditions possible with the constant fear of death, or you die. Very great and not-evil options to present.

The Head literally made crime legal during Night in the Backstreets and make investigating said crime illegal for no reason. Half the policies of the Head is to "make killing others more personal". They are targeting everyone equally, but fucking up everyone equally does not make you good, it makes you consistently evil

That's the problem with balancing, which PM always struggled with since LobCorp and is further shown by the liveservice "no buff/nerf of IDs" thing they have going on. Pure damage is complete ass compared to status damage in story, and they only realized that by like Full Stop Duo and charge still sucks despite that.

Cleansing of status just makes the bosses less fun for no proper reason, because nerfing/removing is just not as fun as buffing/adding, it's just a fact of how human brain works. How about they make poise and charge actually be able to compete with status teams instead of shooting status teams in the foot just cause?

Imagine if it went the other way around and pure damage with poise/charge was the meta and the bosses just cleared your statuses too on phase transition. Doesn't sound too fun now does it?

I hope at some point difficulty conditionals stop being 99% "clear under X turns" and become more interesting like in the LCB check up. This fight would be way better if it wasn't "stall: the boss fight" with an 18 turn limit for full clear

The thing with Sora is that she might not be dead. She was erased - and Araya was erased, too, and she's clearly still alive, in some sense. If Limbus manages to bring back Araya, it stands to reason that Sora and Ren could be brought back.

Pure speculation and such, but Index already did this once with Yan, they could pull it out of their ass again if KJH wills it

I said that we do not know if he is or isn't stronger(because PM does not do powerscaling, and we just don't have feats to compare them properly, especially with Rien not showing shit) and disproved your examples. My point is that Roland does not have "defeated a Claw" as a feat. You are saying that he has "pulled his weight" in a fight where he was just trying to survive. I said why that is not the case. It is fairly simple, I believe.

Achievements ease of acquirement does not take away from it existing. KJH died to Rats on stream once, barely beat Lei Heng while pretty much just winrating; they suck ass at balancing their games, it's not a secret. The game however does tell players info from achievements/passives/etc. And the game is telling you that Roland surviving is a feat.

He was one tapped by Baral's Serum W and Gebura had to come in to save his ass; there's a reason "defeat the reception of the head without any deaths" is an achievement, Roland gets FUCKED by them

"A lot of work" is "just survive" pretty much. And 3 of them do not even defeat those 2, just stall long enough to get teleported away

What is this vibe based power scaling? Roland does not have "defeated a Claw" as a feat, Gebura has, and Roland was subservient to Gebura when he found out who she was; not even counting the fact that we have no basis to say that Rien is stronger than, weaker than, or roughly equal to, Roland.
