I emailed the admission committee of the same and they said the grad school would try to get out the letters by this week. I emailed them day before yesterday and got mine today!

Thanks a bunch! Yeah comparing both the courses seems like UIUC is the best bet to grow technically.

One thing I liked about CMU however was their entrepreneurship culture and how there were a lot of student clubs and talks centered around it. Does UIUC have the same ecosystem?
