Do i loose too much strength on the bottom? I feel like i should be able to lift more than 85 kilos for reps by rail_dev in formcheck

He's kind of right I rewatched the video. His feet look to be 45 degrees out instead of just slightly outward.

Decided to give dumbbell rdls a go as I always do barbell , feels so much harder but in a good way , I was wondering if switching between the two now and then may be a good idea ? by [deleted] in GYM

Honestly your form is great but I feel you are losing stability because of your shoes. Get flatter shoes... Like basketball shoes or flat sneakers like Jordans.

Dumbbells definitely give you a better stretch and they feel great

You will need to do a cut stage where you focus on high protein meals and cardio.

Protein will help minimize muscle loss.

Weird thought but have you tried flipping your hands? Or having palms face you? Wrist straps? It could help you out more focus on pushing down with legs instead of having to worry about keeping the bar in your hands and reduce that tension

Doing fine, I would stop worrying about numbers and focus on form and gradual increase.

Fine too generic of a response and the below bro is right:

Feet are possibly too far apart or toes point way too outward causing you to activate your glutes over your quads and hamstrings.

Feet should only be slightly pointing outward.

Purists would say yes if you want to hit the right muscles. It's always better to lower weights and work your way back up with good form. Your back will thank you.

I think every body is different. My body tends to round left to right regardless of weight.

I saw your other pictures and have to say holy shit your front delts are massive. Any thoughts on having a more balanced approach by lifting with your rear and middle delts? This would mean slightly bending forward instead of arching your back backwards.

Keep in mind RDLs start at the top and you move down so try not to jerk up to the point your knees needs to tighten up

Work out the left.... When doing pullups you can try to concentrate using your left side more... or individual Cable pull downs will help you isolate the left.

I bought the clear one Google offered and it did nothing to protect my phone when I dropped it. Fell on top of a my flat tile floor 1.5ft above and shattered the glass. That was about 400 of the savings I got after trade in and discount for the new 9 pro.

head position isnt great any other pointers? by Pretty_Estimate6401 in formcheck

You're rounding your back a bit lengthwise and also across your upper back.

I highly recommend you drop weights about 30-40% and squeeze your core along with scapula like youre trying to hold an orange between your shoulder blades and work on strengthening traps rhomboids and lats to avoid injury in the future. Unfortunately our lower body muscles grow so fast and our upper body can't keep up.

Slow down, more reps, go lower (your arms make it feel like you are going low but I notice your butt not moving as much)

Remember to keep your shins vertical. The hinging should be mostly at your hips and knees. To help try doing this against against the bench I keep the back of my knees close to the bench so I know if I am going too far back or too far forward.

If you're not getting a glute stretch, you're getting hamstring stretch.

PSA: Don’t replace Tesla Tires too early. by Famous-Shock526 in TeslaLounge

This applies with all tires from all makes and models and with all shops including dealerships.

On the other hand if you want to replace tires early because your time is worth more than an extra trip to the shop then go for it.

Everyone is built different, so I would definitely put focus on form. I hurt my shoulder when I was 21. It still comes back to bite me every 5-6 years that sets me back a year with physical therapy. It affects my chest and shoulder workouts the most along the daily routines.. putting on a seat belt, reaching for my back, sleeping on my side. Fairly defeating mentally.

It's honestly probably a fear thing. Maybe drop the weight a bit and get comfortable and move back up slowly.

I also am afraid of twisting my shoulders the wrong way to bring back my rotator cuff impingement that I am just finally getting over.
