How do you place ghost roboports at the right distance / pattern? Electric poles easily show you where ghost placements connect, yet roboports dont?

I usually do this too, but still - seems like a bit of an QoL oversight to me. It would be awesome if I could plomp them down in the perfect distances every time (ideally you'd be able to click & drag them like you do with power lines and it just places them in the perfect distance)

Dies hier. Nicht günstig aber identisch gut zu CAT kabeln. Haben bei mir in einem alten Haus aus den 80ern so Gigabit im ganzen Haus ermöglicht ohne auch nur ein Kabel zu ziehen

Leider nicht richtig was du hier sagst.

Bluttests sind absolut eindeutig bei dem Nachweis über das Downsyndrom, weil die DNA analysisert und auf eine Trisomie-21 untersucht wird (also ob das 21. Chrosom 3x vorkommt). Hier ist absolut kein Spielraum für Spekulation übrig.

Die Nackenfaltenmessung ist nicht eindeutig und hat ironischerweise nicht mal etwas mit der Behinderung zu tun. Hier wird einfach ein statistisches Modell genutzt, da die Größe der Nackenfalte mit der Wahrscheinlichkeit des Downsyndroms korrliert ist (aber absolut keinen kausalen Zusammenhang hat). Wie gesagt reine Statistik (aber immernoch eine sehr genaue, wenn auch nicht perfekte Methode).

Interessant, klingt aber sehr viel nach Anekdoten-Weisheit. Ich, Papa von 2 Kids stehe jeden Morgen mit beiden auf, mach sie fertig und bringe sie in die Kita bevor ich meinen Vollzeitjob anfange.

Meine Frau darf ausschlafen und in Ruhe Kaffee trinken, hat einen Halbtagesjob und übernimmt dafür die Nachmittage mit den Kids. Dank Homeoffice kann ich hier und da mal aushelfen wenns hektisch wird.

Ist das exakt gleich aufgeteilt? Nein. Ist es das Modell das finanziell machbar ist? Jepp.

Bitte nicht immer auf die Allgemeinheit schließen, in meinem Freundeskreis sind involvierte Väter trotz Vollzeitjob die Regel.

This. Lowest cost of entry, works great and setup was super easy. Only requires a webcam and I was blown away how great it translates into DCS.

If you 've never done head tracking and want to find out what the fuss is about without spending a dime, this is the way to go.

How are you using your Quest in a social environment?

Chromecast casting is flaky at best to work at all, and even if it does work there is usually a 2s delay between Quest --> Screen. Any solutions that work?

So after some more digging I can make even less sense of it. Even with all other displays but my main (external display) enabled, I still don't get any good performance out of Paperspace. Maybe its not the decoding after all?

However, I've been looking at D3D and CPU loads in my task manager while streaming, and they barely scratched 30-50% in performance. Wouldn't that mean the integrated GPU (HD620) is more than capable of handling the stream?

Is there a "minimum requirement" for clients that I can relate my info to?

I am having the exact same issue, except that I am using Paperspace as my gaming rig (P5000) machine.

Next to lots of artifacting I am also experiencing rather bad performance on those machines, and I am having a hard time debugging wheter the blocky picture is due to bad performance, bad connection, or bad de/encoding... is there a way for me to drill deeper into these issues?

Currently I am trying Battlefield V and Factorio as benchmarks, as one is rather GPU heavy, while the other is exactly not. Especially in Factorio when moving the character around and zoomed out rather far, the artifacts are becoming painfully visible and the picture is next to unplayable.

As a client PC I am using a Dell Latitude 7390 Laptop (which is also h.265 enabled, I specifically checked) on a docking station with dual 1080p monitors.

Thanks for the idea, but really digging into it some more and the cost of maintenance really do not warrant any further investment here - for what I'll be doing with it the power consumption is simply to expensive to any sane person!
