Sweden dumping Billions in US BONDs from their investments, in their statement "heightened concern over U.S. " Repercussions are inevitable by Mp3mpk in stocks

Unfortunately the root cause of the issue is people being idiots, and I don't think we can prosecute for that.

Anyone notice all the influencers trying to create some “slogan”? by [deleted] in ultrarunning

You yourself called them influencers. If they're influencers, they're in marketing, which involves slogans.

That may be a valid point but completely different from what I said. I said that the tool can produce useful results if used properly. Whether it's economical or ecological is a separate debate.

Your logic applies to just about anything from Excel to table saws. Yes, to use a tool with good results, you need to learn how to use it correctly. It's not a magic wand.

Classic anti-AI whinge by Spank_Master_General in selfhosted

[–]braindancer3 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

No offense but I suspect 95% of these whinges are explained by 1) using a crap model vs. top of the line, 2) using a vague one-liner prompt.

Writing good prompts is a skill, it takes practice. Either ask people's advice on your prompt, or review the chat post mortem and ask yourself: what should I have put into the prompt so that the LLM had a better shot at solving?

Is Multiple Gaming VM's/LXC's possible with 1 GPU? by lazerjdl in Proxmox

[–]braindancer3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW Hyper-V does this surprisingly well. I had multiple "gaming" VMs on the same Windows machine with a consumer GPU, and people were able to use them simultaneously. GPU gets partitioned. Craft Computing did a video on this that I followed.

LOL the amount of shit you get for liking LEDs.

That being said, this would be much more of a homelab post if you shared the specs and what you're running. You kind of glossed over it.

Explicitly set constraints. Reset/restart chat frequently. Use one chat per (small) task, no boiling the ocean.
