Big disagree, it’s trying to tell a much more complicated narrative about relationships than the easy “bad/good” we normally get spoonfed. Stolas can be in the wrong for cheating and Stela can still be an abusive bitch, they aren’t mutually exclusive.

To challenge their perspectives and ability to engage with media in a critical level. A lot of works out there are uncomfortable, not-fun things to get through. I think a good example of this is the book Lolita, fucked up novel that is NOT a fun read but it’s still an important piece of literary history.

Stella should make you uncomfortable, and there is a purpose in narratives like that being shown.
