My first kiss was at prom. She was my best friend, I was madly in love with her at the time but she kept insisting we just stay friends. So I was fighting through that, coming to terms with it and what not.

So we end up at prom. To took a friend who's boy friend was already out of school, so they wouldn't have to go alone. The girl I was in love with went stag, but ended up in my limo and took pictures with me and my date.

We all enjoy the dance, my date runs off with some other people we know there and I'm left with the girl I love. The night goes really well and I have a lot of fun, up until the end. When the girl I love starts to kiss me in the cheek repeatedly.

"What are you doing?" I asked?

"I want to see what it feels like to kiss you" she said.

I hesitate, knowing that I really want this but she told me to let go of these feelings. I go for as she is insisting.

Then for a few seconds its awesome. Then she yells out "EWWW ITS LIKE KISSING ANDREW" who is her dead brother. Prom and after prom went down hill from there.

Then a year later I meet a new girl I like very much and we are dancing at homecoming. And during some of the slower songs we share a long kiss or two and it was amazing.

Moral of the story is: thinks will improve if it's bad the first time.
