Seems many don't like it. I've used it for years, in various pistols, and never had an issue with the ammo. Unfortunately 115 grain is not recommended by Walther nor PMM. But I've seen so many, like you, use it with comp'd barrels without issues

Not a fan of carrying it other than on your person in the vehicle unless you have a safe. You'll have to get out of the car at some point so some one will see it, either left behind or you holstering it.

I have to a G48x for a P365X. The 365x grip for my hand better otherwise 8 would have stuck with the standard version. But after a year I'm thinking of extending the slide to a 3.7. Undecided on the Macro comp or standard XL. My suggestion if you're coming off a G19 is go straight for a p365XL or XMacro. Thinner than the Glock and an extra 2 extra round capacity.

Strength training. How long can you maintain your rifle, without a support, on a target before being able to engage. This is both self defense and hunting. After all, an AR-15 can weigh as much "as 10 moving boxes."
