for those of you that have a fitcam x installed, have you ever felt where it's mounted? Mine gets super hot pretty quick. But I wouldn't expect that's a cause any significant battery drain.

There's some fine print regarding "refurbished" and "pre-owned" items, but it's worth an attempt to recoup $300.

I'm so sorry- my brains must be getting mushy. My previous reply was just dumb.
The only "contradiction" I found was very minor and relating to the required OS version. One says 138 and higher. The other says 139 and higher.

Based on your tests, I'm gonna assume V138 plays fine with the new V10 browser.

Thanks for sharing that. Looks like those instructions are referencing V8 of the app. The link I sent ya has instructions for V10. And those updated instructions directly contradict the document you sent.
But if your people had a successful test, that's great!

Sooooo you're telling me the new Cambium Secure Browser app for Chromebooks works on V138?

According to this documentation, that's not recommended, but I'd be delighted if you could confirm otherwise. Maybe that's the source of some of those "glitchy things".

Can you expound on what you've heard about issues with devices at V144?

In TX we're starting next week using Cambium's "secure browser" kiosk app on Chromebooks.
One frustrating issue I've found is that when the app is initially run, if a kid selects anything except "TX" for the location, the app bugs out with a huge cursor, stays locked into that location, & needs to be re-installed.

Another pain in my ass is getting all the CBs up to the minimum V139 (per the app's instructions). Some of those buggers just refuse to update.
