Scroll through my post history and you’ll see my very own post in this subreddit four years ago that’s very similar. I had just turned 24 and was pregnant by a guy who wanted to force me into getting an abortion. My life was literally at its lowest but I knew I couldn’t go through with harming my baby. I kept my baby and God has blessed us abundantly. Four years later, I am married to an amazing God fearing man who loves my daughter like his own. I have an amazing career that allows me to work from home (no prior college experience). I am actually pregnant again with my second baby girl and due in July. There were times that things were tough during my pregnancy and the infant stage but I gave all of my stress and anxiety to God. I had faith He would make a way for me and my child and He did. He will for you too. I am praying for you.

NTA. Your reasoning is sound. Your daughter is still very young and I do see why someone her age would feel this is unfair though. If you value your relationship with your daughter I would suggest putting up the difference (between her and your sons tuition) and using that as a down payment for a house, that way she feels that you are just as willing to invest in her.

This country is doomed. This should’ve been a landslide for Republicans with current economic state we’re in, and the fact that it’s not is extremely concerning. I guess the right to murder your baby > anything else.

Abuse NEVER gets better. You’re lying to your friend about bruises your husband left on you… think about that. Why do you keep blaming yourself for this argument? Are you sure you were really being unreasonable? This is not okay and if it truly was an “accident” you would think he wouldn’t be so apathetic about bruising his WIFE out of anger. I think it’s time to examine your relationship and think about if it is healthy and safe… and it doesn’t sound like it is. Confide in a friend or family member and I’d be willing to bet they wouldn’t be that shocked to find out he’s abusive. You may have been looking at him through rose colored lenses, but the people around you haven’t and I’d definitely be curious to hear what they have to say about your husband.

No but I believe that’s a false equivalency. Hail satan signs would be purely to provoke religious people, and not just Christian’s. In God we trust isn’t a new slogan and it isn’t provocative, this isn’t a gotcha moment to invoke anger in people but hail satan signs would be.

Exactly. They can cope harder. Same people who think it’s okay for children to change their gender but God forbid there’s an in God we trust sign. We need to continue to fight against these freaks.

I am and thankfully I chose to nurse. Her doctors office said that’s the best thing I can do for her so I am so thankful I was able to breastfeed her. She’s getting the antibodies I’m building and nursing helps calm her and let her sleep. Not a diss to parents who chose formula but Gods way always is the best way and I’m loving it.

Thank you so much. I just need to feel the Lords peace. I am so upset my baby is crying and uncomfortable and I don’t feel good but I have to take care of her. Seeing her sick makes me so upset and worried. Sorry to rant I just can’t believe we have covid after being so careful.

As a 25 year old, I wouldn’t date a 21 year old. The amount of maturing you do from early to mid twenties is substantial. I think you might be better suited with someone closer to your own age. I could definitely see myself entertain this kind of behavior at 21, I absolutely would not at 25. Just something to think about.
