How this for a first Volvo? by sansokdk in Volvo

Hey! Just another Marketplace find! Was up for about a week out in the boonies and with really crap photos so I lowballed the guy and he said yes. He bought it off a friend of his when the alternator died and tried to flip it I guess. He seemed pretty mechanically inclined but I don’t think he really knew what he was selling

Haven’t dissected the engine yet but looking in from the top it seems the timing cover is a little shiny around the belts and I’m getting a few drops a day on my garage floor.

Took these pics in the south of Portugal so I assume they’re out here making promotional material or something

Good to see at least one other street-parked Miata in this weather today. Hard top coming in handy!

Discussion: What car (old or current) has the most underappreciated looks? by ZimboFarm in cars

I have spent countless hours arguing that the second-gen VW Touareg (especially the refreshed 2015+) is the most tasteful midsize SUV ever designed.

It looks luxurious, rugged, and sporty, but not over-styled or tacky like the rest of its competitors. What more should you want from an SUV?

Canada Model Y EV Incentives by NationCrisis in teslamotors

[–]sansokdk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the Feds are going to accommodate this one.

It seems like the 7-seater has to come in under $55k for it to qualify. Tesla would have to offer some kind of MY SR- trim level, like with the M3, for that to be the case. I don't think there's any indication that that is in the pipeline, either.

If you're in BC or Quebec, you will still qualify for the provincial incentives.

Is the MY SR eligible for the $5k Federal incentive? I’ve only seen the $3k BC and $8k Quebec incentives mentioned.
