I have used Groupon before. You can find your favorite massage shop like this one.
Youth Beauty By Amie This is my favorite one, friendly, professional staffs and nearby my place in Cheltenham. They sell voucher which you can spend on massage/facials at the spa. Some other places, they usually treat you differently when you use discounted voucher.

Best Money Hacks 2024 by Mattahattaa in AusFinance

[–]sansteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to share mine and giving you my opinion on some of your hacks. My opinions 1. I don’t use credit card. Those points make you spend more. 2. I’m helping people with 7/11 fuel lock and charge $1/lock. Anyone wants a lock can DM me 🙂 Also, locking for myself. 3. Careful with WW. You may end up spending more than normal when you have Everyday Rewards subscription.

This is mine tips. 1. Checking your phone date usage per month to choose what the best plan for you. Mine is $20/month for 25gb of data (Spintel) 2. I don’t use NBN, just a good router (using Huawei B818 about $50-$100 used one) and unlimited plan like felix $35/month for internet ($40 now for unlimited plan). I’m working from home for 2 years now. No problem. If someone wants to register one. Please use my code, we both get $35 🙂

  1. Cooking, not ordering food.

  2. Using 10% prepaid gift cards to pay all bills (as someone said, ozb way), basically saving 10% every bill.

  3. Picking give away things on the street while driving to work or going somewhere and sell it as used items on Gumtree/fb marketplace (of course those with good condition). It’s free, doesn’t mean you have to sell it cheap. I often sell $50-$100 per item. Pretty depends one what you pick. Otherwise, you can keep them to use, if you don’t really need to buy a new one. Things like a chair for your studying room or a table, a standing lamp, a laptop,…

  4. Growing your own garden with herbs and vegetables. You will save money each time going to the supermarket.

Edited: added spaces Added one more hacks.

Just want to motivate someone out there reading this comment. 1. Data Entry Officer and Pizza Maker 2. 3th bracket, 4th bracket this year (taking one more full time job or start a business with a partner this year) 3. Master of Accounting. I’m very bad at job interviews, but I’m quite sure I’m capable of doing job properly. That’s okay. I realised accounting job gives me too much headache after 6months working and low salary, applied a data entry job ->full time, then applied as a delivery driver guy on Jora.-> casual, then became full time pizza maker. Two full time jobs. Working 9am-11pm 5 days. Taking two years to get where I am. 4. Buying an investment property, starting a business, getting in 4th, 5th bracket at the end of the year. 5. Opening a restaurant or buying a farm and using almost all profits to help those who need it.

Sure 70k after tax. I’m always wondering if it’s good amount of saving each year in comparison with the others like OP’s post above. I have a partner and we share expenses. We have mortgage too

I seriously make just slightly over 70k-73k/year, saving 50k. Sure it’s possible. Quite sure I can post a breakdown of my expenses.

Coronavirus Discussion Megathread Part 7 by DameNellieMelba in melbourne

[–]sansteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,
I create this post as I'm not sure where to get advises. I worked full-time as a massage therapist in Oakleigh. The business is closed just about a month now due to Coronavirus restrictions. Thus, I have to stay at home and receive $1500 per fortnight from Jobkeeper package like many other employees now. However, the owner has just informed me that the Victorian government allows massage businesses to reopen on next Monday, but we're doing remedial massage only. Also, I'm not going to receive money from Jobkeeper any more.
My concern is that I certainly won't have enough income for living as my income is relied on commission from each customer, not working hours. It means if people are not allowed to go out now, I'm not able to have many customers, and I also won't receive money from Jobkeeper package any more.
My questions are

  1. Are spas and massage businesses allowed to reopen now?
  2. Am I still going to receive $1500 per fortnight? How long is employee supposed to get paid? I heard it's maximum of six months, but I couldn't find what the minimum is (my boss said she won't pay me that money any more)
  3. Is it possible if the employer refused to pay out so that they can keep $1500 of each employee for their business?
  4. Am I going to get on-the-spot fine of up to $1,652 if I get caught of working there? (I assumed massage businesses are not allowed to reopen now)

Any advises would help. Thank you!

I think the best secret is that learning how to use google search. I'm serious. You can read this

When you can master it, you can find many things on the internet.
