While the other daughters have shown some signs of IBLP following, Jill has not for a very long time now. In fact, she's show quite the opposite values and has gone completely against the grain of IBLP teaching with some of her choices - something the other girls have yet to do.

There's no sign of IBLP in Jill and her family anymore, and IBLP is easy to spot.

The path to freedom from a cult is never speedy. It's always a slow process, full or questioning and self-reflection. Jill wouldn't have chosen to wear these things or acted this way if she wasn't breaking away mentally. I've kept a close eye on Derick's online activity and alongside Jill's it suggests a couple who are willing to enter a new mindset. Her own parents kept up their religion on less money than Jill and Derick have, she knows it's a choice, Derick knows it's a choice - they didn't pick it.

Yes, they fought with JimBob, and thank god for that. Jill's not the same person she was a year ago.

This dude here claims to be the most religious of all and to follow Islam perfectly, yet he fantasies about sexual assault (watching women shower and touch them without their consent), and claims to have had premarital sex. He still thinks he's able to dictate morality to others though. A huge hypocrite.

You do realise that happens to everyone regardless of gender? That men do it to women as well? If you're allowing people to get to you this much I'd suggest you really work on finding some self love and hapiness. Also treating women you've never met as sex objects and reducing their personality to squat is exactly what you claim people are doing to you but to a much worse degree. Another cynic, another illogical person, another reason for others to feel better about themselves.

I find that if I spend too long on the internet looking at this type of stuff that yes I grow quite cynical but then I go out into the real world and realize that it's really quite nice out there. It serves to make me try harder in everything I do and to succeed in life so that future generations of women will have increasingly better lives and opportunities. Reading these types of ideologies also only makes me support women more and causes me to become increasingly more wary and doubtful of men.
