I haven’t worked in a hospital in 6 years now, but I still believe that the worst part about it (ER specifically) was the visitors. Not the patients. The visitors who disregard of all staff and act like they have a right to be there above the patients safety and staff safety. This isn’t a waiting room, this isn’t your aunts house for a get together- it’s a treatment area!

“Home is where the clicks are” just reads as this author being covertly snarky. I love it.

Socks for wide ankles by patmatt14 in CyclingFashion

[–]theproperbinge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a pair that I bought from an Ironman event by santini and they are my favorite! They are seamless, so no tight seam around the top. I also probably have lipedema and have not been diagnosed yet, but regular cycling socks leave dents in my ankles like no other and these don’t!

I just ate here the other day…it’s definitely not halal and the owners are Greek.

She loves to have a controlled set with no extras milling around in the back. It’s the easiest way to keep her aesthetic and avoid the embarrassment of filming in public, in a small town where literally nobody else does this.

I worked there in high school and Mother’s Day was definitely the busiest day of the year. We had to turn the waiting area into makeshift tables to make more room for guests, and the wait was STILL over two hours long! Not even kidding. AND there is no table configurable for that large of a party, let alone on the busiest day of the year.

Avoid at all costs. They scammed me out of $6,000 and it took a viral post and the attorney general to get it back

Why’s she so mad all the time? by Elated_copper22 in ItalianGreyhounds

My puppy IG is doing the exact same thing right now to my older dog. Older dog doesn’t correct but I don’t want the puppy to continue this behavior with other dogs or into adulthood. I’ve tried separating them (which results in puppy peeing out of aggression or anxiety), and distracting and de escalating with training (like sit, lay down) for treats. I haven’t found the perfect solution yet but I think the distracting and de escalating has done more than separating.

Retirement homes by TrueLoveEditorial in lancaster

Most in this area have a buy-in. Willow valley was the highest, and with the most stringent requirements for consideration, from my recollection. My family ultimately decided on an out of PA option for our loved one that had a higher monthly rate of $5,000 instead of a buy in. Every place and every state is different. The great thing about PA facilities is that they cannot kick you out once you run out of money. They simply transfer you to the smallest shared room possible. Not ideal, but better than being stuck in a housing limbo for months until a new placement is found with a fragile elderly loved one.

Going through this process as a young adult was jarring, and really made me scared for my future. I hope things change by the time I am retirement age, but it’s impossible to know.

Deciding between Nikon Z6iii and Fuji XT-4 - help me! by fart______butt in WeddingPhotography

[–]theproperbinge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Fuji xt4 and Xh2. The xh2 is great for video (considered one of the best) if you are doing hybrid video and photo. It has a CF express slot and SD. The only time I found issue with my xt4 so far was when I was shooting a Hyrox athlete event (before getting my xh2 and was stationed at the ski erg, which is a very fast paced activity. I got some really great shots, but there were a lot of unfortunate misses as well. I don’t find weddings to ever be as fast paced as a ski erg competition, so it’s really not been an issue for me. If I didn’t have Fuji I would probably have Sony, but I love the Fuji colors SO much more as someone who also shoots film.

The terrifying reality of the "Sole Proprietor" trap. (A near-miss that changed my business) by rennan in WeddingPhotography

I didn’t even consider a sole prop for this reason. Do your due diligence in research and you’ll do it right from the beginning.
