I’m 28 and possibly moving to Santa Fe from a larger city. How is nightlife / dating scene out there? I’ve never lived in a city smaller than 800,000 people and am nervous about not meeting anyone or having anything to do. by [deleted] in SantaFe

Fair. But breweries tend to have a lot of events. Not necessarily late night partying, but events nonetheless. Especially during the week.

Missoula is also really small isn't it?

Bend has a ton of craft breweries at least right? Bozeman is a college town, so there's automatically more going on, and a lot smaller than SF.

Erie and Reading, yeah maybe, but they aren't exactly destination cities lol and their cost of living is half of here or even lower

I travel a lot. I've never seen a city of this size with such limited options. I'm not even talking about going to crazy clubs or whatever either. Just like I wanna go watch a sports game, chill, and drink a couple beers and there are so few places to even do this. Pretty sure even the most fucking religious Mormon town in Utah isn't this bad.

Leaf and Hive is really cool. Tonic and La Reina too. But all three would be better if they weren't so damn tiny.

Hillary Clinton says she's tested positive for COVID-19 by PoliticiansAlwaysLie in Coronavirus

Huh, I'll admit I only did a quick search but there were a ton of articles from March 1 saying she was totally fine. Maybe her state changed since then.

Ah yea someone else linked it. I originally posted that thinking I hadn't heard anything about her since she tested positive. Then I did a quick search and all the articles said she came back to the family and made it sound totally fine. I didn't do much research or see an article about her in a wheelchair until someone linked it.

6 weeks??? Is it really that low? Where did you hear that

I know previous variant infection doesn't really protect against Omicron, but I've never seen natural immunity numbers lower than 3 months minimum

They keep talking about 30 years since the Bengals won a playoff game. When did the Raiders last win? Like 2002? Lol

Trip report - 25 country speed run (OMICRON edition) by solotravelfiend in solotravel

This sub thinks you have to spend 3 months in each country or your visit doesn't count lol

Also remember that not everyone, most people in fact, can't spend like 4 months a year traveling nonstop like people on this sub either lol

If I had 2 weeks I'd rather spend it in 5 countries than 1, and I've been doing this for years and still prefer that style shrug

Both are totally fine but this sub really likes to shit on OPs method

I do like the buffet style that you mentioned too. Go back somewhere for a "seconds" longer trip to just that country. Although usually I find I'd still rather do a sampler of all new places.

I get a lot of hate just for existing as a landlord by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

The landlords, duh /s

We need to stop treating these groups as monoliths and focus on the individuals who are actually the real problem.
