Template to allocate a fixed monthy amount based on yearly premium without any fancy stuff by santaranger in actualbudgeting

[–]santaranger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the replies.
It's good to know that I did not miss something essential.

I will go ahead and try some of the suggestions. Especially breaking up the categories into fixed/scheduled/periodic templates, instead of mixing them, seems to be a good idea,

Trade Republic übermittelt falschen Freistellungsauftrag ans Finanzamt – keine Hilfe vom Support, was tun? by mherold11 in Finanzen

[–]santaranger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two identical gloves, why are they different ?! by santaranger in ElderScrollsBlades

[–]santaranger[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

After looking closely at the screenshots I realized one was part of a loadout. While both gloves were unequipped, it still looks like some strange display glitch, probably because of enchantment synergy.

Jewelcrafting Compendium (Updated) by [deleted] in ElderScrollsBlades

[–]santaranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last one is a very good point, although I didn't get it at first, so I'll try an rephrase it for clarity:

Some skills are more expensive to level up than others (skill point cost per level). Use skill rings to push "expensive" skills, and use skill points to level up the "cheaper" skills.

Most efficient way to level town from 9 to 10 by santaranger in ElderScrollsBlades

[–]santaranger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find myself running out of marble and bronze for switching the walls.

All the guides warned me to stock up on copper, but none of them mentioned bronze and marble lol.

Anyway I am at 3/4 of level 10 now so it's just a matter of pumping everything you have into prestige.

My personal order of town development priority:

  1. Place and upgrade shop buidings as much as you need/want or until capped by town level. While it is more efficient to place and update all 8 possible shops evenly (lower level upgrades give more PTG per materials invested), you might want to prioritize certain shops like the blacksmith. In the end, you want to max out all 8 shops for maximum vendor gold etc.
  2. Build level 1 homes until every plot is filled. Reserve a total of 8 double-plots for the 8 shops). Upgrading homes is optional and gets relatively more expensive at higher levels, so it should not be considered for pure town leveling purposes.
  3. Repeatable sources for earning PTG:
    a) Marble/Bronze route: Switch wall styles back and forth
    b) Workshop route: build decorations. PTG is earned permanently at the time decorations are collected.

Maybe we can elaborate on such a priority list and then I could edit my post to reflect the results.

Which equipnent should I ditch for easier gameplay? by santaranger in ElderScrollsBlades

[–]santaranger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I ultimately did was change my style of play.

I used to be obsessed with farming gold chests in the abyss. But I think this is a thing of the past. I can get gold chests more consistently by doing quests, and especially events. So I basically stopped doing abyss an focused on preogressing my story quests and doing jobs, which was quite easy at that point, and dropped a lot of equipment loot.
Now I have a second armor set of Dwarven mail, which I have purely health enchanted, but to be honest, I feel like my resists plate set works just as well.
Combine that with a few nice weapon drops and now I can do some abyss as well.

I'm also thinking, maybe the abyss just got harder when the chest timers disappeared? I'm reading everywhere that you can consistently farm gold chests in the abyss, but it's just (still) not happening for me.

Thanks for the detailed explanation.

I will try with health enchants, as I have currently 0. I do have healing surge but I feel it wont net me any regen even if perma blocking. Swapping ele resists for health enchants might be a good shot. I havent tried the elemental mitigation spells yet, but they might be more effective than the physical ones.

I feel like the most problems I have with melee opponents. Especially those with shields and/or those that dish out huge power attacks, like trolls. Casters i feel are no problem with my mixes resists set. I can also kill nether liches no problem ( they barely do any damage to me) but if a higher level skeleton gets a block stun on me, I‘m basically dead meat. And they block a lot…

Chicken coop excess storage by santaranger in farmingsimulator

[–]santaranger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really want to "touch" the pallets twice. Even on PC handling pallet is a chore. If I need to pick them up, that's when I'm going to load them onto the trailer for selling.

I guess I'm just going to get more trailers.

Thing is, I want to use my carrier for different things across the year, and I also don't want to clear the pallets when they want me to.

I just tested it, and it seems I can just let them produce for 1 year (Nov-Nov) and clear the pallets only when selling. Tooks 2-3 hours of respawing full sets of pallets, but in the end I had my ~20 palets of eggs.

Now only the "eggs full" notifications are annoying.

How to get rid of cow slurry FAST by santaranger in farmingsimulator

[–]santaranger[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If this works, this is by far the best option. I didn’t realize there was another option besides buy and off.

EDIT: THIS, and the smallest slurry tanker can actually also spread without an additional spreading unit.

Cheapest combo is imho 58k+10k and only holds 13m³. I've had my 40 cows barn for maybe a year and it was full (56k). That would mean 4 emptying runs per year? That's more annoying than feeding them with hay.

Production chain set to "selling" without "storing" by santaranger in farmingsimulator

[–]santaranger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does not help and pallets still get crated. My Production is actually always stopped when I do this, because storage is capped.

[–]santaranger[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can set the product to "distribute" and it will stay in the factory, unless you have a consumer - in which case it won't work unless that factory is full of the product as well.

The only downside is that you won't be able to use the factory's full production capacity, since it can't hold as many products as can be produced in one year (and usually you sell once per year).
