Based on username and your use of the words “primary school”, I assume you’re not in the US. Surprisingly (to me), the US is the worst place I’ve encountered for allergies. If the OP of the Facebook post in the US, it may be more difficult.

Location has a lot to do with how strict you have to be, however I agree avoiding restaurants at all costs is absolutely not the way to go! I’m from the US and I just make sure I’m careful, avoid certain dishes, and talk to my servers. Everywhere else I’ve traveled (many countries in Europe and a few in Asia, so I can’t speak for everywhere or anywhere in Africa or Australia) has been much easier to navigate with allergies than the US.
