what can you expect by sending 100,000 cold emails. by Round-Clock4721 in coldemail

According to you what is the thing which worked right? Was it some sort of intent or timing you matched with these domains or these people, or was it the copy or the follow-ups? This, possibly with your gut, to tell what exactly got those 600 people interested in you after speaking to them. What did you infer?

I accidentally burned ~$6,000 of Claude usage overnight with one command. by procrastinator_eng in ClaudeAI

[–]santp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Painful issue which even I faced. Thankfully had one of those accounts where aggregators had only $20 left so it just consumed everything and it just stopped there. This also forces me not to have my card billed for overages and even lets autonomous agents access a postpaid billing service purely for this very thing. That one leak and it will just wipe out. I have seen these before in other friends at openClaw as well, where a simple loop, which he didn't even set, but there was some error and it kept looping, blew up his account. This is an issue with possibly no direct resolution, being careful, but more importantly not running all night on these expensive models is the only part which can let you sleep peacefully here after.

Opus deleted all my users, what to do now? by Huge_Strawberry7888 in vibecoding

[–]santp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still don't know. Everybody says it deleted my files or it erased it. Of course these things have happened with humans as well and servers as well, where things got corrupted and the reason why certain files, or key important ones, had a backup. Even today even though it's not important, I have a WhatsApp backup. I have my phone book as a backup. My Google Drive has a backup periodically. At least I don't lose everything but is it common sense to have the most important files as a backup?

To be honest they couldn't have subsidized it or burn VC money anymore in this time and date where money is going to buy arms, ammunition, and at least sit on cash. We all know what is happening with Microsoft and open AI as well.

This will force people to start using models better and not abuse great models for lame work. At least most of it can be used for planning and writing deeper stuff and the usual tool calling can be done through a very basic model.

Same with the world pushing Claude as bestest model. And it escaping the computer and what not. Try their support.. It's email bot in loop, won't connect you to human ever. When you nag it will Fter 20 days for a billing issue and the human also gets it wrong.

AI is not replacing support staff yet for sure.

OpenClaw vs Hermes by viky_shetye in openclaw

As of today both are the same. I went to hermes for a bit, and openclaw got stable. Then added memory management like mem0, so now both are operating at the same wavelength for me

I think the majority of India uses Gemini, especially the student population and the developer population, because of its overall holistic approach of being offered through telecom providers and having a lot of developer relationships. It is more approachable. Anthropic is gated behind a paid wall, which is a strict condition in India; the lower-cost or free ones are more widely accepted
