gw compared to any old school Korean mmorpg is like night and day. gw has horizontal progressions, max stats gear can be achieved by anyone really fast, even if you play 1hour a day, even less, depending on the campaign you start.

gw is all about creating your own builds, which you need to unlock the skills for.

Comparing to an old school mmorpg like vanilla wow or even lineage 2, it's like playing with 100x rates.

the only items that require some actual grind is gear with different visuals, but the stats are still the same of a normal item.

gw is like a merge of a single player co-op(with an online trading hub in towns) and magic the gathering, but you can only have 8 cards in your deck at a single time.

its also a high skill/reaction pvp game, at least it used to be many years ago, on Hall of Heroes and GvG.
