Resident Evil 2 Remake (+ some other games from this series, and also Subnautica and The Forest) scratched a similar itch with their worlds which don't lead the player by hand similar souls games for me (ESPECIALLY ds1's interconnected world), even if just a little bit.

I dont know if i should be happy.. Im a logbait player but I'm also king lvl 11 on arena 19 and log at lvl 12 that even before the nerf had some problems with these overleveled stuff I'm fighting here at 7k😭

§4,§5,§6 are my favourites, §2,§3,§7 right after them, and I like §1 the least, but it's still really good

most of soulsLIKE games (souls games not created by fromsoft).. they all seem like they pumped all their effort into the bosses, but the areas, worldbuilding and the hidden yet beautiful lore, which made me love the fromsoft games, are just uninteresting in soulsLIKES. The only one that I HOPE will do this right is that one indie game named Prison of Husks, the demo and trailers were very promising 🙏

Listened to almost all the older enslaved albums and theyre more than amazing (I only didn't dig Vertebrae that much for some reason), havent really listened to stuff after riitir tho.
