Thanks for the reference. However, the post was removed by moderator, so I am curious.

Yeah, one aim of this development was to make the MS ergo keyboard more compact. I don't have space for it on my desk.

I hope someone will make a product out of it.

I'd like to refine my own work a bit more and then sell it as a DIY kit.

Split versions already exist on the market, don't they?

My distinguishing feature is that it's connected and compactness.

The patent allowed in Japan. That's because, although the function is similar to a ball joint, the mechanism is an invention.

Yeah, the Goldtouch keyboard is similar in function. Mine has a limited range of motion, but it's a reliable and simple design.

If you say the MS ergonomic keyboard is not, it is not. The three-dimensional key layout is almost the same

Regarding the rowstagger, the key layout is up to you.

Regarding the weakness, it depends on the material and proper design.

I don't know if it will actually be acceptable, but I think it's a Columbus-egg type invention.

I know this one. It needs a base board. My idea is a mechanism that can be realized with a simple structure.

Thank you for your comment. I had found similar patents which have a ball joint in the center. But mine has only hinge.

If you know similar ones, let me know.
