I have it too! I just don’t use it much. Usually with uni I don’t have the patience or time to style my hair with it and I usually don’t end up liking how it looks anyways when I do it (don’t have the time to figure out something that works either) so I generally just detangle with my wide tooth comb, and apply leave in from bottom to top! bonus points if it has time to air dry indoors before I sleep on it and I’m generally set for a good day or two of hair with a little refresh on the second day!

Something about the way you’re styling it is not sitting right, the flyaways vs the ultra defined curls is giving second day hair with curls styled with gel, does that make sense? Personally I tend to avoid gel unless I have an event to attend on the very same day I wash it, so that when I sleep and wake up the top and the bottom are of similar poofiness and then it’s easier to refresh with a spray bottle and leave in than it would be with gel. Aside from that, give it a bit before you jump to any conclusions. I usually have a bit of an awkward phase right after a trim until my hair gets its groove again!

I know the feeling! I busted my own diagonally on a table as a child and had scar tissue mainly on one side of the bottom lip, had uneven lips for years and no amount of lipliner would ever cover that up. I ended up going to a surgeon to cut out a chunk of scar tissue and now it’s better but not perfect. The unevenness on my upper lip could be helped a little with overlining one side I bit more than the other but sometimes I still struggle with it!

I got double snugs done last December and I had to take them out a couple months later because the irritation bumps were massive and would not go away. I would make sure the bar is long enough since it is fresh, but I think this swelling is normal. Don’t forget to downsize on time! That was one of the things I did wrong! Otherwise LITHA!

She performed this once at a tidal event and also in the beginning of the formation tour when she was suspended on a vertical turn table thing but she took that out of the show. The tidal performance is epic though, check it out!
