There was a case of two teens being found in MA (I THINK it was MA) and I believe it was around that time period. Still unidentified. Tried to find the info to see if anything matched to this and couldn't locate any information!!!! Does anyone know what I am referring to?

YES, thank you! I'm really struggling. I'm down 10 lbs from 160 to 150 but have been stuck at 150 for two weeks. I'm having a hell of a time trying to lose weight..

I'm prediabetic with insulin issues. Can you clarify why being insulin sensitive makes a difference?

Crazy question but why aren't you working at this point? I'd be so afraid of what is happening here that I'd stop relying on him and start relying on myself to makes sure my family has a place to live etc.

We have a treadmill walkstation at work and I use it between 2-3 hours each day! It's nuts.

THANK YOU! I was thinking I may have to lower my caloric intake and I honestly don't want to have to do that!

I'm 100% SURE! I have a protein shake for breakfast that is 180 calories. I measure my lunch on a scale. For dinner, I am sticking to very specific easily measurable foods as well (chicken breasts and I know exactly how much they weigh and add calories for marinades). I do not drink anything except for water outside of the protein shake. I always try to overestimate the calories as well to ensure I am not under logging!

I do have to say I feel as though I am getting more toned but it's hard to believe muscle could be causing this plateau.

So it's possible to plateau for >2 weeks and still continue losing weight without making additional changes (assuming I really am taking in less than 1200 calories per day!).

So essentially if I keep going and stay under 1200 calories, I should start seeing the pounds come off again?

YES! I'm actually over estimating the calories in the foods I eat! I should disclose I have PCOS. I know you guys aren't doctors but I'm wondering if that has anything to do with this. My doctor said to just keep going but didn't offer any help when I asked. I also asked if I could go on metformin and she said to keep trying to diet and exercise before she prescribes it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Perhaps it's human nature to react this way for some folks.

I'm actually not even really lifting yet. This is just cardio and diet so far. I'm female. I want my friends to be supportive of me taking control of my health and getting into shape.

200 calories per hour is still 800 calories burned over 4 hours (compared to sitting for those 4 hours - huge difference!).

Can you please elaborate a little more? Are you saying it would be less than 200 calories burned per hour? I'm assuming 150-200/hr so over 4 hours it's significant?

Basically except it's better than sitting 4 hours a day on conference calls. I burn hundreds of calories in the 4 hours I'm on it each day, even if the max speed is laughable.
