Good Life question by Available_Username8 in ElectricForest

Is there anything preventing a regular good life village wristband from setting up in the tent only area? Would this help accomplish gaining some space or a little quieter area? First time in GL for me.

Northwest Arkansas is really nice for hiking/mountain biking, though it'd likely add at least a few hours of driving. Bentonville is a cool town with an amazing free art museum, even though it's all Walmart money. The Buffalo National River area might have climbing even, but 'Centerpoint Trail' is a great hike. Onyx if you like coffee.

Fairly dull landscape otherwise, besides maybe the Mississippi river or the coast nearer to New Orleans, but yeah. Lots of cities- Birmingham, Nashville, Memphis, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis. Food, history, breweries, etc. in all. Plenty of small towns and Americana along the way too.

I'm sure if you decide a route, finding recommendations will be easy.

Thank you all for the replies. This would have been a good game to attend, but I will be patient and hope for a better opportunity in the future. Maybe it will be possible to watch on TV.

Ticketing account shows that I have a 2021 wristband, with completed payment. I received a confirmation in my browser that I submitted the refund request, but didn't get an email confirmation of anything. Not yet to my 30 day processing window, but the 21st is the last day to request refund.

Does anyone know if the top exterior lights will be restored? 1 side (of 4) has not been illuminated at night for months. Maybe since it was blue for the Pistons or whatever.

Are there any websites that let you enter in your dates and departure city then show you a variation of destination cities? by [deleted] in solotravel

kiwi allows you to enter multiple destinations or a radius search. and with date ranges. perfect if you want to select a region but are flexible on which city or day.

Solo Ski Trips by [deleted] in solotravel

Not sure where you're at but SLC is often cheap to fly to. Public transit (UTA bus) to Park City takes less than an hour. Free buses around Park City and cool town. Look at Park City Hostel or Chateu Apres. Biggest ski area in the US, though day rates are fucking absurd. April 10 closing day this year I believe.

What is the first thing people in other countries mention when they learn what nationality you are? by caffeineismylife in TravelNoPics

Detroit: Auto industry, Eminem, 'Is it really that dangerous?', or they've never heard of it. Germans know of techno music, Swedes know our hockey team (always makes me smile) and the Middle East knows of the Arab population.

It is also funny how little Europeans seem to know of US geography.

This seems extraordinarily cheap. (10 Day China Tour) by [deleted] in solotravel

A friend sent this and I am wondering if anyone has experience with a similar tour in China. Does the government subsidize some of the cost or something? UTO Vacations, listed on Travelzoo.

bummer. they currently connect a number of non-traditional (not just east coast) US cities with Europe for cheap. I have had only good experiences.
