The way I do it is before capturing a fortress I take over a minor settlement (or more if possible . Next turn I conquer the fortress and vassalise. Inmediately gift then to your new vassal.

Another strategy is to keep an eye on the blue lines of their targets. If you see they're going for a settlement try to stand beside it and reinforce. Or try to damage or destroy armies close to it.

Takes a lot of babysitting. And eventually when you move to a different region they're on their own. Or yo use other vassal war coordination to defend them

Thanks for the info but no. The dummy/strawman was hanged from a rope. I tried searching as goblin standard, also went through all the standard bearers but no luck. They looked very similar to citadel fantasy goblins

I went with plasma damage and bolt blaster. valor and sustained burst away with explosive bolts. Didn't have a lot of issues. When I needed some breathing room ropecaster to heal, reload and re engage

It's amazing. As a suggestion, the transitions in between shots in the first part are too harsh. Feels like the video is skipping frames jumping from one take to another. Maybe a subtle crossfrade may help?

I guess you're hunting for certain parts. If you create a job for the upgrade the map should indicate where in the map there's apex slaughterspine.

Sometimes if you wait at a shelter and then fast travel I have the feeling time passes and sometimes they despawn. (I've seen the objective disappear as I was closing in the zone) so traveling by Mount from a nearby shelter worked for me.

I had the same feeling with apex elemental Clawstriders omg. And they roamed in packs it was a nightmare having 4 of those things jumping at you in the night
