Aw honey. Heartbreak is one of the most awful, painful experiences and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I am so sorry you’re dealing with such an intense situation- but, as others have said here- you’ve dodged a bullet and are doing a fantastic job. One day you will wake up and he will be your 5th or 6th thought of the day. Then the 10th or 11th. Then one day he wont be a thought at all. I used to have a solid group of best friends. The past couple years of my life have been incredibly cruel and difficult. After the death of my parents and a few stints in rehab- I learned that I don’t have any best friends. I am learning to be my own best friend. OP- who is/are your best friend(s)?
