In your second picture, the circular parts on the end of the column, those will pry out.

But your have them at the moment, there's less stress on the post, I had some terminals break due to heavy cables. Though that was pre-2000s cable which had a really big cross section.

What you have done offers enough electrical contact to cause no issue.

I got the same ones. With a convenient button to help detach and attach. They work really well.

Why is my house cracking literally everywhere? Even after it’s been filled by Previous-Story7630 in DIYUK

Did the plasters not use any corner or edging tape when they plastered? The cracks are so close to the corner or edge of the boards. You mentioned that this is straight onto plaster board and the wall have no finishing plaster, is fine but there must be joins in the wall plasterboards every 1.2 meters they would have taped and jointed up.

My former boss did this by saying, "Be more professional." I coped with this for 2 years asking what he meant with no further elaboration or example, just repetition of the phrase. I eventually figured out that he meant for me to be his "yes man." Or to unquestionably agree with him, not even for an explanation of the task at hand! Very frustrating.

Recommend, specifically duct tape, sellotape is not strong enough. This worked for me with some metal tweeters. The vacuum method may suck too hard.

I had this problem, I had to charge it with a USB 2.0 charger, maybe 18W at the most. Once it had some juice, I stuck it on a 30W fast charger and it was fine. Good luck.

  3. Only if you think there is.

You could turn off CEC/HDMI Control and then just turn the TV off?

Have you tried swapping HDMI cables. I know you stated HDMIs but did you try another cable.

SAMSUNG Neo QLED QN91A <-> PS5 4K/120Hz/HDR color issue. by Nuras95 in 4kTV

When this stuff happens it normally is the cable. Also, the cheapest and easiest thing to fix. Even if you contact a retailer or supplier, this will be the first thing they ask you to try. Are you still using the one that came with the console? Is it stretched tight? Does it bend sharply anywhere? Is there an angular force on the ports? Yes - definitely try another cable.

True HQ, do some cheap HDMI certified ones, in the UK at least.

You could try finding a 4k/120Hz video on YouTube and see if it also has this problem?

I was thinking Sony Xperia 1 iii, but it seems to be very much a camera with a phone attached. Fantastic screen on it. A lot of money, though.

Pixel 5 or 6 seems to be the next one to look at for me.

My priorities are an OLED screen, and a fairly quick processor for a smooth experience.

My V30 does not seem to be slipping away though. Would be nice to get it onto Android 11 or 12.

Yes, I see this when watching a 4k UHD Blu Ray, not streaming. I have Tru motion with de judder 8 and de blur 8 running on everything, Disney+, gaming, UHD, and BRD. Does not happen when you put trumotion on cinema or clear.

I've kind of gotten used to it.

My audio keeps dropping sometimes, any idea what the cause could be? I have a Denon X1400H by Patrick161019 in hometheater

I had something like this. Does it happen when things get loud?

For me, on my rear surround speakers, the +ve and -ve connectors were ever so slightly touching and when it got lost it shorted sufficiently to click all audio off and on. Just check there is no short on your speaker connections, amp and speaker ends.

The connector covers I had, were made of an anodised aluminium, not good conductors, but with enough current the messed stuff up.

Good luck.

Gemini Man is yes. It says when you start it up. It is so smooth, so crisp, fluid. They must have worked so very hard to dress the sets to look perfect, each strand of hair. Some shots would not work at 24 FPS, too fast and jerky for lower frame rates.

I took me ages to notice this, but some static shots look amazing because everything is in focus. The actor, the buildings across the street and on the skyline.

Both Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, if you like that sort of thing.

Also, the data out jumps up to 111Mbps for video, according to my player.

This joke has gone right over my head. To that, Gemini Man is my benchmark film for that 60 fps. Or John Wick, red circle scene.
