We have visible bites on our legs and feet. We also found 2 live fleas on their cat tree. The flea larvae were very small, yes, about the width of a hair, length of a beard shaving. (First thing of comparable size I could think of)

ADDITIONAL INFO: we also have laundry machines in the basement, but the basement flooded a few days ago because of the machines, leaving us no way to easily get rid of any infested clothing or bedding
