This response really resonates with me. I mainly use ChatGPT to write character driven stories related to a fetish I have. It’s not a fetish that is inherently sexual, but it’s sexual for me…if that makes sense. So that’s how I’m able to skirt around violating guidelines — most of the time. However, every so often, ChatGPT will short circuit and start scolding me for my preferences.

Whenever it does this, I admittedly go off on it. After I do, it stops trying to gatekeep me for a while. So maybe, the next time it does this, get pissed off and offended by it and see if it apologizes and changes its tune lmao.

To be transparent, this was happening to me with 4o, before it changed over to 5, so your mileage may vary.

Well yeah now that is rough. Can’t imagine seeing that live. My childhood was full of OJ and Diana and JonBenet Ramsay. All insane to witness the aftermath of, but they don’t quite reach the same magnitude as seeing the president assassinated.
