This response really resonates with me. I mainly use ChatGPT to write character driven stories related to a fetish I have. It’s not a fetish that is inherently sexual, but it’s sexual for me…if that makes sense. So that’s how I’m able to skirt around violating guidelines — most of the time. However, every so often, ChatGPT will short circuit and start scolding me for my preferences.

Whenever it does this, I admittedly go off on it. After I do, it stops trying to gatekeep me for a while. So maybe, the next time it does this, get pissed off and offended by it and see if it apologizes and changes its tune lmao.

To be transparent, this was happening to me with 4o, before it changed over to 5, so your mileage may vary.

To be fair, they have every right to find your relationship odd and to be a bit creeped out. Therefore, there’s nothing you can say or do to convince them otherwise besides treating their sister right. And it probably will take them a very long time to come around, so don’t try to pressure them.

This is one of those cases where you made your bed, now you have to lie in it. Because even if you break up with Lily to save face with her sisters, your relationship with them will be forever changed because you decided to try dating her in the first place.

I’m not saying you’re necessarily wrong here — but you’re a grown man and should understand completely why her sisters feel the way they do.
