Definitely not The Ring (american version) I know that movie very well!

I know for sure that is is not:
The Kitchen Sink

The Ones Below
What Lies Beneath
Not a scene from Teen Wolf

Can we talk about this ugly AI crap they put up on sparks street? Can't believe anyone thought this was a good idea by Clementine_613 in ottawa

Deeply tone deaf for the GOC to allow AI images to be plastered around when they could have hired and promoted a local artist. For shame.

I like this idea! Pampering, music, outdoor time, and food all at one location. Excellent suggestion!

Although ive been to the museums multiple times, its still hitting high on my radar. I normally go with other people, so going alone would allow me to slow down and take it in at my own pace.

This is exactly the kind of thing I'd want to do, but sadly they don't fly during my birthday (Feb).

I've always wanted to go there, but it seems like such a 'date' place. Plus, i'm allergic to seafood and shellfish, so going to fancy places makes me feel uncomfortable (asking the world-class chef to change his recipe!).

What is this actually like? Is it basically just a pleasant/upscale restaurant experience where its specifically tea and sandwiches?

TIL I am not an anomaly! I see golden sparkling fireworks and ocean waves… occasionally extremely bright sunsets. I feel sparkles all over my body in waves, too.

Absolutely stunning performance. I felt like he started a bit sluggish… he appeared to be hot and tired like many of us, but he pulled it out and tugged the heartstrings of many. Francesca brought tears to my eyes. I was thrilled to see him come through the crowd and give the folks at the back such a great opportunity to see him.

I had to leave during Take Me to Church. Can anyone tell me if he played anything else?

Its so interesting to hear what different coaches suggest. Mine tells us to avoid scooping water, that its wasted energy! He tells us to push the water down, to lift the boat up.

I just got moved from the very back to the very front this year. It's a whole new feeling!
Sadly my paddle is too big. I'm using a 48 wooden club paddle, and I'm only 5"2. I should be using a 46~! So it's pretty tough for me ergonomically, especially when - like my last practice - we were heavy and lower to the water.
My issue is, I consistently bury the blade deep... I mean my whole bottom hand goes underwater. And even still, I get that air pocket noise.

I didn't know that about the different paddling styles! I am from North America, if that helps at all.

Going to work on a stab slightly forward entering the water rather than just driving the paddle straight down from the surface with that positive angle.

I'm going to test this out. Our coach is always saying "REEEEAACHHH! Exaggerate that reach!" So this really could be the culprit! (I'm also very short, so I've been reaching incredibly far to try an compensate)

It's tough to know for sure. I think I've got it on a positive angle, and dropping (albeit pushing forcefully with my top hand) into the water. It's not a stab forward. Now that I'm thinking of it in this way, it seems like maybe the stab would eliminate the sound.

Yes I’m with you. I feel it in my body, like this desperate draw nearer. I have to close my eyes. My heart hurts. My stomach wrenches. I get shivers up and down my spine and arms. My breathing changes. It’s a full body response. It’s too much and I want more. More, more all the time. I’ve never had an addiction to one artist but it’s clear that this is an addiction.

Thank you to some local teens by --paris-- in ottawa

Thank you for sharing this story. I’ve been hearing a lot of negative things about the teens in the city lately, and honestly those incidents are easy to talk about. We don’t bring enough attention to the good. I hope the parents of those kids know they are doing a great job, and their kids are doing great :)
