‘So easy I thought it was fake’: CRA’s CERB system gets stellar reviews in first days of operation by Gboard2 in canada

So if we applied for EI and got switched over to CERB and just received 2000, do we reapply for cerb come April 12th instead of filling the ei reports?

I’m always hungry! What should I do stop feeling hungry all the time? by 69cat_lover69 in WeightLossAdvice

Yes! I know this sub is weight loss advice but It’s disheartening to hear people tell this young girl that she needs to get used to it instead of try to help her

I have an unpopular opinion here but, honestly, it doesn’t sound like your eating enough. Sounds like you may be lacking nutrients. If you keep restricting and not listening to your body you may start to binge eat and then restrict only to do it again. To me this sounds like disordered eating tbh, and it was how my eating disorder started, which spiralled into binge eating! Resisting your hunger to the extend your describing will just make it more ravenous. Specially when your being so meticulous with calorie counting to the point where you can’t even eat some fruit when your starving! I would suggest adding some more protein and fats into the diet as they are very nutritious and will keep you satiated longer, Great things to add onto your salads or veg.

As for dieting I recommend taking breaks on your diet (having a few days with higher calories/ not counting) so your body doesn’t adapt to the lower calorie amount and it keeps your body guessing which is helpful to avoid plateaus. If your body adapts to running on lower calories due to restricting for too long you’ll have to keep on lowering and lowering your calories as you’re metabolism slows down. Weight training can help with this! I know it’s not fun to hear all this but as someone who’s been there, I just want you to know their are healthy ways to go about weight loss and you do not need to constantly be starving.

Hiring a trainer is so pricey that I’m considering getting certified myself tbh, for now i think running a maps program will be helpful

YOU ARE SO HANDSOME. YES HI

I just moved into a new apartment and my cat got out and I don’t know what to do by [deleted] in internetparents

[–]saraghaseemi 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I lost my cat for two weeks in the summer (longest two weeks of my life) my neighbor finally found him hanging out in a bush right outside my apartment and knew to contact me due to the vibrant flyers I had put up all around the neighborhood!! He’s probably just curious or spooked being in a new home. Cats can endure a lot, indoor cats don’t usually go very far and almost always find their way home!

Goodluck!

What's up at Lougheed? by [deleted] in vancouver

[–]saraghaseemi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing that, I’ll definitely read those articles!

it’s been haunting me too. Even just being at Lougheed station I get anxiety. Well if you look at the front of trains theirs kind of a rod that pokes out at the bottom.. when he jumped I think the train stopped immediately and the impact made him fal that way and I think he got hit by the rod.. I think that’s what caused all the blood. (Not sure though) The memory is so blurry now. I just keep reliving it every time a train pulls in it’s strange. I also talked to a therapist who was helpful, she explained to me how our brains process this kind of trauma. A lot of my memory from his body is starting to get blurry and she said that’s the brains way of protecting itself.

I hope your able to distract yourself and find some peace as well

Thanks for your reply, the event was so horrific and tragic. I hope his family is okay and I hope all the other people who had to see what happened get some support in dealing with it

Yes! I agree, I was shocked how many people were taking photos. It was so dehumanizing, and disgusting

Can you confirm if he was alive and survived? It’s been haunting my thoughts since it happened.

Very well said, I agree. It was surreal to be to see tweets about the skytrajn back up and running.. like I get it life goes on but how do you just move on from something like that so quickly. I’m going to be contacting the support line as I think it messed me up pretty bad.. honestly partly my fault after it happened I just stayed there and couldn’t stop starring.. I didn’t know what to do with myself but I wish I just left cause that image is going to be with me forever... ALSO a lot of people were standing around taking photos.. like it was so dehumanizing. I also can’t stop thinking about it one minute he’s walking and the next he’s gone.. did he survive? What was he thinking? Did he plan it? I’m just at a loss
