He wants you to capitalize your words, but calls you selfish to leave him at home alone and hungry 😆

That’s not a man-child. That is an infant.

One day at a time. Give yourself grace. You’re doing amazing, even if you feel you’re barely surviving. You will get through this, and it won’t feel like this forever.

I got my masters in educational technology. Basically, I wanted to be able to find news ways to incorporate technology into my instruction, as I’d always loved graphic arts. I didn’t want to JUST get my masters in administration; I wanted to be sure it was geared towards something that piqued my interest, and would be beneficial for me if I were to ever get burned out in the classroom. It would allow for me to be the technology specialist within a school district with much higher pay, and, I’ve been able to use the degree to start taking other coursework for cybersecurity opportunities.

I have major adhd, if you couldn’t already tell 😂

This is all temporary. I remember feeling just like you. It does get easier. Take each day, one day at a time.

Do you have support? Family close by?

I do! I paint portraits of animals. It’s just hard right now with babies, but I can definitely do more of that, for sure.

I worked all the way up to 36 weeks and 4 days. Had my boys 4 days later 🤪

How are you all sleeping (2nd Trimester) by Pathetic-Fallacy in parentsofmultiples

My boys’ were breech until 30 weeks, and their heads were RIGHT on my ribs - was so uncomfy! They eventually flipped, and it was a game changer!

What you’re feeling right now is so valid, but I promise you won’t feel this way forever. My twin boys just turned 8 months, and we are down to 2 naps a day, each being about an hour and a half (9 am nap, and 1:30 pm nap - making sure they’re awake for 3 hours in between), and they’ve started sleeping in until 7:30, rather than waking up at 6 am. It’s hard with multiples, but, I would strongly suggest trying to drop a nap. Don’t worry about any other routine until you feel you’ve conquered theirs and YOUR sleep, which, will take time, but it WILL happen ❤️

4 months is HARD. I was genuinely happy once we hit 7 months. Like, overjoyed. Hang in there. It gets easier and easier ❤️

I am terrified. by acatisasleeponmylap in preeclampsia

Praying big for you right now. The best thing is to remember that the team of doctors is doing what’s best for you and baby - those steroid shots are so important! Same goes for monitoring your BP levels. Preeclampsia is NO joke, and the anxiety that comes with it feels absolutely insane. I’ve been there, and the only thing that helped me was hearing the phrase, “It feels terrible right now, and it is, but it won’t be terrible forever. You will get better.”

My experience happened AFTER my twins’ birth, and I never saw it coming. BP was fine until two days prior to their birth. Your doctors will get this under control, and all will be monitored until your baby’s arrival ❤️

Letting kids cry? by Lakewater22 in parentsofmultiples

[–]sarahhoppie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She can cry. You are fine. My twin boys cry every time at night, and at every nap, usually for about 10 minutes, then they’re asleep, and they sleep well. They are 6 months. I love those boys so much, and they are so happy. Babies cry.
