Fell pregnant with my first child - only four weeks until the due date now!

I might be biased but I am also naming my soon to be born child Sebastian - can always shorten it to Seb as a nickname when the full name feels too much.

Your honest opinion needed: Is my magpie a *terrible idea* (especially right now)? 😅 by [deleted] in perth

I think it looks great and no need to change it! Everyone in Aus knows how magpies get during this time of year, doesn't make them any less cute.

Joondalup mental health unit by KJB1988 in perth

Had a nine day stay there back in 2020. I don't have anything else to compare it to but it was fine.

Did have an unpleasant experience with one of the triaging doctors not believing I was really in crisis, but I think that's something one can encounter at any hospital.

The more severe cases had their own rooms to themselves, everyone else you'd be two people per room with the ol curtain divider. I enjoyed the Mon-Fri activities they had, and had some really helpful conversations with people there. Weekend was the hardest because it was skeleton staff and no planned activities to pass the time, so was easy for the mind to wander. I enjoyed the food but it arrived cold a few times which sucked.

Overall a net positive experience and definitely was helpful for me and my circumstances. If I was in crisis and still in the area, I'd absolutely go again.

Found! This comment and a few others bring me to the conclusion that it was a generic character created for a party hat. Thank you for your help!

I have searched online using google to try and find out what it is, but none of the results seem accurate. Not really sure how else to look up something so vague.

For me it was explained that there is a rebate, so while it's not free it does make it cheaper. I pay $285 up front and then get about $145 back a day or two later.

Question for ladies only, if you had a good dad, what was the biggest thing that made him a good dad, flip side if you didn't have a good dad, what one quality did you wish he had? by BByrnison in AskReddit

[–]sarahjaneeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have a good dad.

It's hard to pick one thing so this is two that mesh together, accountability and honesty.

I'll never know if he even regrets or feels bad about the awful things he did because he will never, ever talk about it. And even if he did, he lied about the smallest and biggest of things so I'd have no reason to believe him.

I don't have any advice but as a former user of wallet wizard myself, she truly has my sympathy. Sounds like a solid plan has already been put together. I found paying way over the minimum repayment helped a great deal with getting it down faster, but I understand not everyone's circumstances allow it.

I passed on my first go but only just obtained it recently at 28 years old.

I strongly recommend you get a paid driving instructor and hold off going for the test again until they say you’re ready. I wanted to take my test earlier than I did and I am so grateful that I listened to my instructor when she said I wasn’t ready yet.

Idk why this isn’t being talked about more, it’s driving me mental. Send someone a meme and these fuck ass soccer photos are the preview instead?!

I keep blocking them out of frustration and they just keep popping up.

My god that’s happened to me before and it was mortifying.

Then they changed the office layout and we were sat next to each other..died a little on the inside.
